Christina Persaud is a certified teacher, women’s leader, entrepreneur and an encourager at heart.  She has a passion to inspire others to recognize, uncover, develop and chase after their God given purpose.  Her creative ability and divergent ways of thinking breathe new perspectives and invariably adds value. 

Christina currently leads the RISE Women’s Ministry at the ESP Worship Centre. Over the years she has served in a variety of leadership roles including co-leading the youth ministry for over 15 years, leading Kids 4 Christ, Vacation Bible School and Shine 4 Jesus, a platform for uncovering and developing gifts within children. Christina is also passionate about impacting the broader community and has led several community initiatives, both locally and abroad, including the Warm Hearts Project, B-Light and Christmas Joy. 

In 2020, Christina launched Relentless 2 Pursue as an online platform to provide inspirational, faith-based content. Through social media posts, audio messages and more, Relentless 2 Purse has been a consistent voice of hope and inspiration. 

In addition to her ministry endeavours, Christina held a managerial position for several years with the City of Toronto, before returning to school to pursue her passion to become a teacher. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Ryerson University and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto.

Christina is a "preacher's kid" and attributes her strong faith foundation to her parents - Pastor George and Juliet Persaud. She is a nature inspired enthusiast, who loves to walk, swim and spend quality time with her family. Christina and her husband, Pastor Donnie, live in Toronto with their three boys – Nathan, Noah and Noel.
